How We Began

The business was established in 1990 by Ernie and Frank Contatore. Its first premises, a unit located in Anvil Way, Welshpool, quickly grew to occupy another 2 x units in the same complex.

In 1996 the move was made to its current location today at Radium Street, Welshpool. The custom-built facility has over 5000sqm of undercover work area on an 11,387sqm lot located in the heart of Welshpool. Incorporated in the facility is a fabrication, machining, fitting and painting department(s).

Contatore Engineering has now grown to employ 50 full-time staff members and over the years has grown to specialise in producing quality products first time, every time. Contatore Engineering prides itself on honest business ethics setting the benchmark for ethical conduct in the industry.
