CHRIS – MACHINIST

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

I am an amateur race car driver and instructor. I spend a lot of time on car preparation as I am my own mechanic, but I do also enjoy being social with other members of the Motorsport community.

I have raced all around Australia including Bathurst and enjoy interstate race meetings.

What is your favorite meal?

Homemade Tacos with my secret ingredient.

What is an interesting project you have worked on at Contatore Engineering?

When I was able to turn two large lumps of cast (1200mm x 1200mm x 600mm), into high pressure cylinder port blocks, by milling, drilling, tapping and boring them and when I milled a three meter long, 500mm by 500mm solid Forklift Tyne Attachment for lifting up giant rollers.
